Beautiful post.

Though I can't say I ever paid much attention to Paul Newman's eyes. Like most men, I just wanted to be like him....probably about as much as any actor since Bogart, he captured, in film after film, a kind of complex, compassionate, and intelligent masculine ideal which has never been easy to find in Hollywood movies....
