Austerity is putting judgment on thought with the ascetic point of view of good and bad as apposed to Good and Evil. This being the upper class viewpoint, that of not being like the barbarian commoner whose thought is too spicy. You're right, just a different take. The "A" word hooked me.
@Ted- Maybe not such a different take. I think of austerity in point of view of good and bad. Would never even consider it as belonging over there with the good and evil gang. Do you see the commoner viewpoint as believing in good and evil, and that it is the spicy view?
I just read your profile and there was so much that I liked about it, but most of all your honesty!!! Very well done on no longer drinking!!! I've never been an alcoholic this lifetime, but I know, that it doesn't matter to me whether i have one glass of Bourbon or an entire bottle, so that's why I don't drink at all, there's no point in doing so! nothing good will come out of it.
anyway, really nice meeting you and please forget all about how people should or shouldn't look. I know socviety is fixated on that, but all that really does matter, is what a person is life inside and there you seem to be very, very beautiful and your directness and honesty are very much touching other people's souls in a positive way!
