Tonight I was inspired by posts written by two bloggers I admire. I'm going to keep it simple and basically give you the links for you to discover the commitment, certain joys and the depth of human feeling shared by the authors.
Lily Hydrangea has made ORGANIZE her personal keyword for 2009. I haven't told her this yet, but I adopted it for my keyword yesterday. I like very much the idea of having a word-for-the-year, and there is no more important word for me these days than ORGANIZE. So, Lily, thank you for grounding my intentions. And thank you for this excellent post.
In a tender post filled with gratitude and excitement, Rhiannon wrote of starting over in her own apartment after over two years without a place to call her own. As a bit of background, here is what she wrote in a short post dated February 4, 2008.......
Well, it finally happened, my worse fear...being homeless and in the cold weather..pray for me everyone..and my kitty "lizzie"...never thought it would actually come down to this...it's rather frightening...
Blessings to all,
Thank you for sharing your remarkable journey home, Rhi. And thank you for this most amazing post

I think the way we structure our space really matters, and I always enjoy reading about others who are in the same frame of mind about it.
You have chosen a powerful word for 2009! Great!
Thanks for sharing the links.
@Lily- Um, thank YOU for my word-for-2009! I'm sure you'll find Rhi's story riveting.
@citizen of the world- "the way we structure our space" is a great phrase, suitable for the title of a post....but I'm not qualified to write it...yet!
@Mark- It has helped me already to focus, and I thank Lily for the idea. Do you have a word for 2009?
Organ=eyes...
I'm also really happy for Rhi and it's always good to get organized in life!
thank you for being such a caring person for so many people, Lydia!
love, sarah sofia
First time visiting this blog. You are amazing. Love all the posts.
@Ted- :) That struck me as funny!
@Sarah Sofia- You are so kind to say that.....I think you have a real connection with people on the internet too. I hope you'll enjoy a visit to Rhi's blog after she gets settled into her new apt. Come to think of it, I haven't checked for a week....
@secret, fragile skies- O, thanks so much! I love having you here!
