The Force has been with Clutterquake for three years

Today is Clutterquake's third blogiversary. I wish I had something profound to say, but I don't. I wish I could report to you that I have cleared all of my clutter during these three years, but I haven't. In a way that is a good thing because it means I still need this blog as a retreat and a place to work out my "issues" that keep me stuck in certain areas of my life. I've been working more on them lately in the space of my mind and perhaps I will work more on them in year four in the space of this blog.

While considering how I did not have anything profound to say I realized that it is, at least, an uncluttered state of mind. And from there I will simply thank you sincerely for coming 'round here and for being a silent partner in my quiet place.

I thought this three-year-old describing Star Wars was a fun way to celebrate three-year-old Clutterquake. She cuts to the chase in encapsulating the epic films in one short video. Perfect.
Yoda would add,“Younglings, younglings gather 'round.”

Muhammad Israr~ Why, thank you for visiting my blog so quickly after I was at your blog! Thank you for your good wishes for this three-year-old blog. My other blog is about six months older than Clutterquake.
I don't expect that all the clutter in the world would ever be cleared, especially since different people have differing ideas of exactly what clutter is! :)

Hi!

I found your blog because you had written here (I am a member there):

http://samakasa.blogspot.com/2011/10/assan-lokakuu.html

I like your blogs!

I have several blogs, one in Swedish and two others in Finnish. I have tried to translate to English, but it takes too long time. But I have something in English there, too!

Have a nice day!

Hi!

I like your blogs!

I found your blog because you had written on this blog:

http://samakasa.blogspot.com/2011/10/assan-lokakuu.html

I am a member there.

I have three blogs, one in Swedish and two in Finnish. I have tried to write on English, too, but it takes too much of my time just now, because I write in two languages already.

My blogs are a common one with all kind of stories, one food blog and one political.

I am candidating in Ă…land Parliament election now. The electioin is the 16th this month.

It is exiting. I am sure that I don't get many votes, but my party gets my votes then, anyway!

Here information about our autonomous region in Finland where I live, if you are interested:

Have a nice day!

Laali~ I am so excited to meet you! I will come visit the link you provided. I am also very interested in politics and the environment. I want to know more about your Parliament candidacy, and I hope you get lots of votes.

It will be a pleasure getting to know you. I think it is wonderful that you know so many languages, and I apologize for knowing only English.

Have a nice day, too!

Thanks!

I wrote twice because I thought everything disappeared! :D

You're wolcome to visit my blogs!

Especially my travling text about Rome, the Eternal City which i visited in August!

My Rome text is here:

You can see the pics if you don't understand the text!

We are a little nation, that's why we have to be able to speak several languages.

I have relatives in USA, too, and they cannot Finnish or Swedish, so I speak/write a lot in English!

Well, a belated HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you!

Lydia said...

Laali~ I have been thinking of you because my December calendar has Sibelius' birthday noted on the 8th! :)

Snowbrush~ Thank you kindly. A belated wish is sometimes more delightful because it is so unexpected.
(If you read this in current time, I wonder if Eugene is socked in with fog as we are in Silverton. It is one cold night here. I hope you are not made physically more miserable with the winter weather.)

Laalinlallauksia said...

Hi!

Yes, it is Sibelius´ birthday on the 8th. He was a great composer.

He and his music played an important role in the formation of our national identity.

Did you know that our Independence day is tomorrow, on the 6th?

Sibelius and our independence is closely connected because of his music.

Some of his works are inspired by the Finnish national epic the Kalevala (Finnish and Karelian folklore and mythology).

the Kalevala

Have a good day!

Lydia said...

Laali~ Oh, Hi! No, I did not know that your Independence Day is on the 6th! Isn't it strange that I thought so strongly of you and wanted to get in touch?...almost like my heritage was calling to me! I do know how important Sibelius is to your history. Also, I have a beautiful copy of the Kalevala. I have read bits and pieces, and should one day commit to reading it cover-to-cover. (I will look at the link you provided; thank you.)
Happy Independence Day to you!

Lydia, I knew you lived somewhere around here, but I didn't know where. I think Silverton is a picturesque little town that has a lot of antique stores, no?

We haven't had any fog that I know of. The low last night was supposed to be 27 (I don't know what it really was), and the forecast for the entire week is for temps in the low forties in the daytime with sunshine. I can handle THAT. I just wish the entire winter was that way.

I did address your comment on my blog, by the way.

Lydia said...

Snowbrush~ Yup, sounds like you are describing Silverton. The Oregon Garden resort is just outside the city limits, and we are about 14 miles from Silver Falls State Park (beautiful place). Sounds like you have some decent weather going on. We frosted up last night but it is going to maybe hit above 40 today here too. Excellent. :)
