When I saw this shot in archives at the beautiful photo blog,
retinal perspectives, I wrote to ask Elizabeth's permission to use it here at Clutterquake. She said yes, and I love it so much I am going to permanently install it in my sidebar also. She took this shot while touring historic Pittock Mansion in Portland, Oregon.
As luck would have it Elizabeth's latest post, titled distraction, is as close to a perfect commentary on clearing clutter that I've seen. Really, for inspiration, you must read it (and the accompanying photo is marvelous, too).
